JSC "CB "GLOBUS" applies corporate values to build an effective compliance control system and requires all employees to always act honestly, conscientiously, and in compliance with the current legislation and regulatory acts of Ukraine, the Bank’s internal documents, and ethical standards.
Code of Corporate Ethics
One of the key documents in the field of compliance risk management approved in the Bank is the Code of Corporate Ethics. The Code of Corporate Ethics is a system of professional and moral-ethical values that establishes a list of internal principles and standards defining ethical norms and rules of corporate behavior of the Bank’s employees. It also fosters their unification into a single team, creating conditions for the Bank’s dynamic development.
The Bank’s Code of Corporate Ethics is based on generally recognized principles and norms of Ukrainian legislation, international law, and the Bank’s internal documents. It applies to all employees of the Bank without exception, regardless of their positions or official duties.
Conflict of Interest
A conflict of interest is an actual or potential contradiction between personal interests and official or professional duties that may affect the good faith performance of one’s powers, as well as the objectivity and impartiality of decision-making.
The Bank regulates issues related to conflicts of interest by the Policy on Prevention, Detection, and Management of Conflicts of Interest. This policy defines the Bank’s key principles and requirements for counteracting actions by employees and third parties undertaken for personal gain, which may cause financial consequences and reputational risks for the Bank.
Compliance with Ukrainian Anti-Corruption Legislation
The Bank is categorically against any attempts at bribery or corruption aimed at gaining competitive advantages or benefits. The giving and receiving of any gifts or services (financial or other advantages such as presents, credit, collateral, any loan offer, discounts, entertainment, services, bonuses/benefits, job offers, travel packages, etc.) from business partners or third parties is not permitted if they contradict Ukrainian law, the Bank’s Code of Corporate Ethics, and may be interpreted as payment for specific services or biased decision-making.
To achieve its anti-corruption goals, JSC "CB "GLOBUS" has developed an Anti-Corruption Program, which defines the main requirements aimed at preventing corruption and ensuring the Bank’s compliance with Ukrainian anti-corruption legislation.
Whistleblowing
To ensure compliance with the Code of Corporate Ethics, the rules of internal labor regulations, and to support the Bank’s corporate values, as well as to minimize reputational risk, the Bank has adopted the Policy on Reporting Unacceptable Behavior.
