During the roundtable "Energy Independence During the War: How to Ensure Uninterrupted Business Operations," organized by the Financial Club, bankers discussed various approaches to improving the energy efficiency of industrial and residential facilities for different categories of consumers.
Olena Dmitriieva, First Deputy Chairperson of the Board of Globus Bank, is confident that every entrepreneur must rely primarily on themselves. "We need to pursue the path of energy independence. Every enterprise, every business that wants to stay alive, must decide and implement an energy independence project. They need to understand that if the state cannot solve it, they will do it themselves," she stated.
However, all nuances must be taken into account. "We had an interesting case where a homeowners' association installed solar panels, but it became clear that without batteries, without storage, it's useless," noted Olena Dmitrieva.
"The banking system has all the tools to help implement energy independence projects. We specialize in solutions with solar panels. Manufacturers need them, we have several applications from the light industry, from food producers, gas stations contact us, trading enterprises, homeowners' associations. And we, as a bank, are ready to finance specific solutions for both SMEs and individuals," said Olena Dmitrieva.
